First of all, I would like to thank the members of the Wilton Manors Business Association for their support and for their kind sentiments following the election.

This election was a momentus event for the City, with over 65% voter turnout, the highest by far in our City.

The election also provided an excellent opportunity to hear from residents and businesses as to their issues and concerns. We also have two great new members of the City Commission and I’m sure that the members of the Business Association will have many opportunities to get to know the new City Commissioners.

In addition, we have already taken steps to improve communications and welcome your input and ideas. We have many events planned to celebrate the upcoming holidays, including our traditional Holiday Lighting Ceremony on December 6, at Hagen Park.
