Candidates Night (October Meeting) Recap The Wilton Manors Business Association and The Kiwanis Club of Wilton Manors once again held a successful and informative Candidates Forum on Wednesday, October 22 at Wilton Manors Elementary School. The Wilton Manors PTA hosted the forum and served an array of tasty snacks and beverages. Rick Miller, Barton & Miller Cleaners, Rick Nolan, Kiwanis, and Rob French, Ed French Painting moderated the forum. The candidates included WMBA members Commissioner Gary Resnick, Attorney; Mayor Scott Newton, Quality Interiors, Justin Flippen, Celeste Ellich, First Service Realty, and Former Mayor Sandy Steen, Pampered Chef Rep. The other candidate was Tom Green. Over 150 people were counted. Among the WMBA members who attended were WMBA President Alan Renzer, Wade Shrack, Florida Draperies; Bill Mattax, Mattax.net; Former Mayor King Wilkinson, Red’s Bar; Virginia Flaherty, About Town Lock & Safe; Wynn Fesperman, Tri-Square Building & Construction; City Manager Joseph Gallegos; Audrey Arbuckle, Barbara West, Dr Janis Turner, Chiropractor; Vice-Mayor Ted Galatis, Attorney; Barry Weinberg, Self Discovery Training; Eugene Andresen, Sunrise Travel; Rick and Sherry Miller, Barton & Miller Cleaners, and Rob and Poco French, Ed French Painting. |
