CATHOLIC CHARITIES of the Archdiocese if Miami, Inc. 1505 NE 26th Street WILTON MANORS, FLORIDA 33305 TEL: (954) 630-9404 • FAX: (954) 566-6026 Our center is among the growing number of adult day centers in Florida and across the nation as many of us are living longer and are looking for quality of life in our “golden years.” Most of the people who come to the center are older adults who have lost some of their independence and need socialization with their peers, meaningful activities, perhaps some health monitoring, structure and support during their day, and most importantly a community to which they can connect. Their caregivers may need respite and support. You will see a lot of fun and laughter as people enjoy the many varied activities and special events each day. We enjoy resources in the community such as the bowling alley next door, Cholohatchee Park down the street, and local restaurants where we do for occasional outings at lunch. We are open from 7:30 in the morning until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 to 4:00 on Saturdays. We invite you to stop by for a visit and the whole community will be invited to our “open house” when our expansion is completed. Our new space will include a secured garden in the front with trees, cafe tables and benches, and raised beds where our participants can garden. Major funding is provided through The Area Agency on Aging through the
Department of Elder Affairs in the State of Florida under an agreement
with the County Commissioners as well as the Archdiocese of Miami. We also
accept private pay participants. Please contact the Center Coordinator,
Kay Swicord, at (954) 630- 9501 if you need more information or know of
someone who might benefit from our service.
