I keep hearing that our economy is teetering on going into recession, but I still have not seen it from my position at the bank. Many of my clients have spoken to me on this subject, and very few have felt any affects from the so-called economic slowdown. I have to believe that all the governmental economic indicators are fairly accurate, but I personally believe that changing with times and staying educated in each development within your core businesses is more important. Even during tough times many businesses prosper, some to the point that a slowdown becomes an opportunity for them.
This month’s meeting will cover the ins and outs of borrowing for the small business person. There are conventional bank loans to Small Business Administration loans to business lines to factoring to “you name it.”
All have their purpose, and our guest speaker will try to help you understand where you best fit in. Hope to see you at Independence Hall on March 12th.
On Valentine’s Day, we had the pleasure of dropping off a stuffed bear to each of the residents at Kids In Distress. It was just one more benefit resulting from our Holiday Bear Promotion. Please check the web page:
